Email Infrastructure Configuration & Migration to Zimbra on AWS for Sarah Technologies, Dehradun

Project:
Deployed a Zimbra Mail Server on an AWS Linux Cloud Server and migrated all emails from GCP.

Challenge:
The client wanted to reduce high costs of third-party email services and gain full administrative control while ensuring zero downtime and no data loss during migration.

Configuration:
Provisioned an AWS EC2 Linux instance, configured DNS (A, MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC) for the domain, and installed Zimbra Collaboration Suite with SSL/TLS security. Mailboxes were migrated from GCP using IMAP sync, followed by anti-spam/antivirus setup, backup configuration, and performance testing to ensure smooth delivery.

Result:
Achieved a seamless migration with 100% email continuity and no data loss. The organization now runs on a secure, cost-effective, self-hosted Zimbra solution without dependency on external providers.
